Stevland Morris
Very few artists can boast a career spanning five decades, but this Motown-veteran can, indeed. Born Stevland Morris, the young unassuming American exhibited early signs of exceptional talents. Eventually, he has come to be regarded as one of music's true, living legends, incarnating versatility in that he is both a multi-instrumentalist, a songwriter of global format, and in possession one of music's most distinctive voices.
He is the maker and master of evergreens like "Yesterme, yesteryou, yesterday" (1960s), "Isn't she lovely", (1970s), and "I just called to say Iove you", (1980s) .
He is, undeniably, much better known as Stevie Wonder. Here's one of my favourites, albeit certainly not among his most famous tunes. Enjoy.
